Happy Holidays and a Quick Update!

I just wanted to create a quick post about the blog and the holidays.

I'm working on my last post about "Shadows Between Us" and I have finished reading "Six of Crows", which I will review after I post my final thoughts on "Shadows Between Us". I'm already reading the book that will follow "Six of Crows", which I will announce in my review.

With the holidays upon us, I've been busy. I've also been dealing with some writer's block on my writing, which I am currently working on. I've taken a step back from the blog a little bit to focus on my book, which is helping a bit. There's also been some crazy stuff happening in my personal life that has added to the writer's block, but that part is starting to settle down.

I'll probably try to finish up the "Shadows Between Us" post by New Year's Day. The "Six of Crows" review is already outlined, and I've started writing it. I throughly enjoyed reading it, and going back to my normal reviewing style has helped. I don't think I can do a weekly play-by-play as I was doing before. I find focusing too much on specific chapters each week makes me scrutinize a lot more, which isn't fair to the book. Especially with a such a short novel.
